Group uniform policy

We expect Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to attend in smart uniform every week including the Group necker, unless otherwise requested by the Section Leader. The activity T Shirt, to be worn with the necker, can be worn on alternative occasions stipulated by the Section Leader. Parents are expected to purchase uniform except for necker and badges which will be supplied.

We consider uniform to bring a feeling of belonging and cohesion to the Group, those persistently turning up without uniform may be sent home.

Whilst in uniform in public or meetings, members are expected to behave in a manner not to bring disrepute to the Group.

Replacement for lost items will be charged as follows:

• Necker – £5 each
• Woggles – £1 each

We keep a box of used uniform at the hut in exchange for a small donation of your choice.

We can, in certain circumstances. help with costs. Please speak to your Section or Group Scout Leader.
