The 24th Dorking Group covers the Holmwood & Capel area with children from the surrounding area also joining us.

Welcome to 24th Dorking (Holmwood & Capel)

We are the only Scout Group in Dorking to offer every section, from Squirrels through to Explorers — providing a full 14 years of learning through adventure for young people aged 4 to 18.

Our Squirrel Scouts (ages 4–6) enjoy their first taste of Scouting through fun, friendship and discovery. Beavers (6–8) build confidence and teamwork, Cubs (8–10½) take on new challenges and adventures, Scouts (10½–14) develop independence and leadership skills, and Explorers (14–18) continue their journey with exciting opportunities, personal development and adventure.

We are supported by a fantastic team of dedicated volunteers, be they leaders, Trustees or helpers who make our Group one of the most successful and welcoming in the area.
